The Busiest Work Crews Out There Right Now Are…

September 26, 2020

…the pothole fillers.

The weather was NOT kind to Iowa roads this winter…and the potholes lately have been out…of…control.

However, we tip our hats to the crews out there filling those potholes. We see them in the morning…afternoon…evening….working nearly around the clock to try and save our cars.

I’m sure they would much appreciate a wave of thanks…and more importantly, slower speeds and some extra caution when you approach their work sites.

Over in Omaha, a worker filling potholes was injured after he was struck by a vehicle in a chain reaction collision. He suffered back and head injuries and his ability to get back to work is doubtful at this point.

If you have been injured while on the job or doing a job-related activity, you are eligible for workers’ compensation. It’s so important that you know your company’s policy, but as we’ve seen far too often, sometimes those policies are filled with exceptions that have been put in to try and keep your employer from being liable.

We fight for you, the worker. You have rights, and it’s our priority to make sure you know your rights, and that you are compensated correctly. You’ve worked too hard not get what you have rightfully earned.

Call Eric, Randy, and Sarah at 515-225-4485.
